OK, it's about time I posted the pics of the pole barn that went up last month (just before the cold weather hit). It's 20X40 with four 10' doors on front.

Great looking shop you have there. I like the red siding and how it all came together.

How do those doors work? It looks like they are sliders and that you can open them all up. Is that right, or can you only open two of them?

Thanks,
Eddie

Milkman, What size is your building and what company manufactures it? Did the $2300 include the labor to construct the building, What size door do you have?
Terry,

The building is 18X21 and the door opening is 8'WX7'H but only 80" height clearance and the price is the complete price with setup. I stopped at a place that sells the $699 carports and added 1' to the height which was extra and the enclosed ends were extra, and the roll up door was extra, all total was $2300, they came out and assembled it on the spot, three guys took almost three hours and they were gone. Ten percent down with order, balance due when finished. They will make any length or height you want, don't know about the width, but have seen some tall ones w/sheds on the sides. I don't remember the company name, but around here, all the places that sell the carports are selling them for the same company, about 70 miles from here, there is another company that is doing the same in that area.

This is the shed I had built last year. It's 18x24. Cost was a little over $3,000

Afternoon Chris,
That last picture caught my eye ! Of course its red the right color ;) I liked it because of the lean style addition on the end. It kind of makes it look an old barn with a milk room addition. Just curious which outfit those are from ? Post and Beam Barns ?

BTW I think I would like that style with a 3 bay garage:)

Here is a two sided shed I built for about 1200.00 in materials from Lowes.
I put a field fence on the one end and covered it with shade cloth. I had problems with the birds roosting on the ROP so I had to put shade cloth on the other end as well. It's a little red neck but it keeps the tractor out of the elements.

They are all on sliders (2 full-width slider tracks: one in front, one behind), so all 4 doors open, but you can only open any 2 at a time (did that make any sense?).

Thanx Eddie,

David

The roll up door to the right on your pole barn looks to be about 1 ft below the top plate. How did you do that? All the pole and steel barn company's I've been talking too tell me that I must allow 2 ft between the top of the door and the top plate.
