Been working on a 59 acre planted pine parcel, lots of downed trees from last year's hurricanes, so that slows me down a little. I had something happen today that I never had happen before, there were cow birds all around me all day but one had a real bad day, there was an old sprayer lid disc hid in the weeds/pinestraw and the mower hit it and it flew out and broke the cow birds neck, wrong place wrong time.

You had me confused with "cow bird." Here, those are the songbirds that take over the feeders and attack the other songbirds.

Cattle Egrets are a lot of fun to see when out mowing. I enjoy watching them catch grasshoppers. They can be very entertaining.

That little bird was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I hate finding stuff like that while mowing. Hazard of new fields.
Been doing a little skid steer mowing myself (y)

@Lineman North Florida thank you for posting your truck and trailer. It's interesting to know how you guys transport your equipment.

Both you and Haydude are very generous to take time to allow us to "ride along" with you during your day

We all appreciate it!

Glad you enjoy the pictures, some days I don't even think about taking pictures until I'm done or on the way home.
