Thats it. I've done a few more things but no pics yet. Chimney is up and woodburner hooked up, fridge strategically located for quick refreshments, did some man-cave decorating with signs, hanging license plates, moved more crap in, mezzanine is full of parts on my part racks and in bins. Yep, it aint big enough.

Very impressive! Looks well thought out. What's the final cost that you have in it? I would love one like that. Love all that storage space.

$28,772.91 to date. But ~$2500 of that is gravel for the driveway, building permit, tile, etc. Things not really part of the building.

Still have some more to do though. Gravel for the back, and more for the drive. Probably another $700 worth

And I am still looking for a hefty I-beam to span the 40' so I can make a bridge crane. I have the beams for the runners and posts. Been eyeing a few locally. Like a W24x104. Its overkill and they want $1200. A W18x50 would be about perfect. Or something there abouts. Would like to find something in the $500-$700 range even if I have to weld 2 20' pcs together.

Looks great -- that is a heckuva project to undertake when you also have a job, family, sleep, eating, etc.... Nice work!

How so?

I am no professional builder. But I built it the the way I thought would be the strongest, and most efficient use of lumber. I know there is a ton of ways to build stuff.
