Beautiful barn. I think you demonstrated good forethought and planning in your construction. I see little to no wood contact to the ground so treated lumber not needed. And to do something like that would have cost me twice as much. Curious - how much is a load of "gravel"?

Depends on what I get. Ballpark prices for this past year:

#4 Gravel...$11.75/ton (golf ball sized river rock)
#1's and #2's limestone.....$15.50/ton (baseball to softball sized
#304's limestone..............$15.50/ton also

#57's and #8's (pea sized and large marble sized).....$18.50/ton Didnt get any of this yet.

My guy hauls me 24-25 ton on a load. So the gravel ~$290/load and limestone ~$100 more per load

Just curious, in the one pic to the right of your overhead door it looks like there is a little concrete pad. Whats that for?

Just a pad to set fuel storage tanks on
