Just rec'd email showing a crash between a 1959 Chevy and a 2009 Malibu. Tried to attach it to this but don't know if it did or not. The 59 was crashed all the way to the back seat and determined driver would have died instantly and the 2009 driver was evaluated to have suffered a hurt knee. I was shocked and surprised since I've told younger people the only thing better about older cars than new cars is the metal was thicker on old cars. I also liked the looks of alot of the older cars maybe better. A 67 Corvette is hard to beat in the looks dept!!If it doesn't attach and you want to see it, send me an email at johncirathomas@windstream.net and I'll forward it to you. I've been buying cars since 1964 and that's been over 130 of them. I love, well, like, old cars but cars today are so much better than they were when I was young(er). I also have fond memories of the good old days and then the actual truth of the good old days come to mind and I move on. I believe the same applies to tractors even though I've only owned tractors for 6 years.
Posted and the crash test did not attach.
Indeed, that's worth watching. Here's the original link, as most places that were hosting the video had to remove it for copyright violations... IIHS 50th anniversary
