I kinda wish the cylinder had a longer stroke. Looks like I'm gonna loose some of my turning radius. If it had a longer stroke it would match the stroke of the origional steering arm.

When I added PS to my F16d, I had to go with a slightly different setup due to space issues.
How this relates, is that at first, I used a 2gpm priority flow diverter. But, that took away too much of my tractor GPM's, so I dropped down to a 1.5 gpm. The 1.5 is just big enough, and now I have good FEL & 3pt hydraulics again.

Got it all plumbed, really works good. All that's left is putting some padding behind some of the lines to keep the wear down where they rub something.
At 1000 rpms the loader and power steering work good together, at the same time. Can't tell that the loader slows down when the steering is working or the steering works less when the loader is raising.

There should be minimal notice on the steering, if the loader is working, since the diverter valve will divert X GPM's to the PS, and anything left over will go to the loader, etc.
If you are not turning the wheel, whatever X GPM's the valve is diverting to the steering, is probably running directly into the sump.
It's my understanding, that when you put a diverter valve in, (for sake of argument, 2 gpm's), you'll never see that 2 gpm's again anywhere but the diverted (Power Steering) circuit. The FEL and 3pt effectively have 2 gpm's less than they did before.
