Nice.!!
I love the "whackers" on the ends of the auger. Nicely built unit right there.
While adjusted the skid plates today to highest level (for gravel lane) noticed the "whackers". Didn't know they had a name

While adjusted the skid plates today to highest level (for gravel lane) noticed the "whackers". Didn't know they had a nameand wondered about the purpose. Guess it's to bust up drifts, prevent end-of-auger snow jams, strengthen the auger or some combination of those 3? :confused3:
Sounds like someone had a military career in the PI!
funny one..

All I could think of is it's great until the remote doesn't stop it at the end of the driveway quick enough and it becomes an expensive speed bump for a passing garbage truck.
I've always used the FEL and rear blade for snow removal. Thought about a snow blower but we don't get dumped on but every 2-3 years. We get alot of snow but it is more steady and somewhat predictable. However, my back and neck needed a rest from looking backwards all the time so this is my new snow weapon. Just bought it this year so I have zero experience. I figure I will have to offer to plow all the neighbors drives just so I can get enough seat time to learn how to run this thing. It is very strong and well built. I bought it from Gary at Lano Equipment Inc. Lano Equipment, Inc. - Authorized Dealer of Bobcat, JCB, Doosan, Kubota, Land Pride, Wacker, Befco, and Felling Trailers
They were very nice folks and easy to do business with.
