We got about 10" of snow... all I can say is; WOW! It's amazing! Night and day difference. The plow used to steer the bike, now I can wing into a corner and still make the curve! I was pushing snow coming over the blade... I was scraping up ice and pushing back frozen snow banks. I'm very impressed. Some did back out a little. I may mot have tightened them enough in the first place. I did notice that there are rubber blocks just under the screws... so if I replace these I could go very long... as much as 2".

We just finished up with another snow and I am running out of places to put it. Here are a few pictures of my TLB 110 with the hoe off and the box blade on and some snow banks/piles. In a few picture you can see I can now drive out onto the snow piles to push more snow down the hill.

I like that 3rd photo, looks like you might need to move your house to make more room!

View attachment 416508Nothing exotic here but the PTO blower was the best money spent. I did not want a front mount, the FEL is a must have.

That's a nice set up. For a while this winter I only had chains on the front, I was surprised how well that worked. Better than only having them on the rear, I thought, and quicker/easier to put on.

Nice rig Brimfield. I bet you were glad to have the blower on this winter! We got off easy compared to you guys in NB!

Well just as a little test I took the trash out to the end of the driveway. Tried to slide on sheer ice on a downhill by braking hard... nearly got thrown into the windshield! Crazy how much these grab! More traction with them on ice then tires on gravel. I'm grinning ear to ear. :)

The tracks are no longer "4 season" but I didn't intend for them to be anyway. Oh, and just in case you were wondering, the screw heads are 5/16ths.

That track set up looks like you could go anyplace on the ice.

I found that chains on the front make a huge difference with traction and even more with the steering. We are getting lots of ice now and the front chains are a must. Front chains with rear chains and diff lock on is amazing, i worry about breaking the plow at times.
