That brings back memories of when I was a kid. Grandpa hooking up the horses and going to midnight mass with the family something you don't see these days. Merry Xmas to you and your family and hope you get a lot of snow to celebrate in a horse pulled sleigh.

Yes it is a good sander, this is my second one from this manufacture,
My driveway is quite steep and it needs regular sanding when it gets slick.
They are nice in that it will make a small amount of material goa long way.
Two 31 gallon trash cans of ash and it did a about 2/3's of a 1/4 mile driveway.
One bucket of sand will do the driveway nicely.

How did you accumulate 2 31 gallon cans of ash already?

Thanks, not sure what I did wrong.

You had to look to the left of the page and hit tractor cabs and it will bring you to all the makes of tractors. From there you chose your make and they will show the models. I should of explained that to everyone visiting the site cause my link specificly only showed the Kioti tractors. Sorry

Lite off the coal fireplace insert first week of Nov when we got a cold snap.
I keep the house a bit warmer then some like the Kitchen / Living room at about 72-74 or so for my wife,
the bed rooms are back down to around 60.
I have used about a ton of coal so far this year.
The coal is my primary heat till it gets quite cold, the oil boiler makes the hot water
and brings up the temp when the coal falls short.
It has been burning for about 55 days this year for a ton of coal.
Just moved a fresh pallet up yesterday and stacked it.
in the garage, 50 forty pound bags.

Thanks for the link. Is it easy on/easy off if you want to remove it?

I have a cab from the same company for my DK40 SE. It was a pain to install as the cab was actually for a DK40, they are different. Company was very responsive to fix the issues. Once installed, I can have the cover fully removed in 5-6 minutes. It takes more time to put cover away carefully than remove it. I would leave the canopy in place. I have found that opening the doors, front and back windows, there is no reason for me to remove the cab. If you spent a lot of time in the woods... that might be a different story. I was surprised to find the cab actually reduced the noise level, very slightly. The first time I used the cabbed tractor to clear snow... I was fully suited up like normal, Sorel winter boots, thermal underwear, lined jeans, heavy winter jacket, mad bomber hat, heavy winter gloves and I roasted. :) Now I just wear, lightweight LL Bean boots, regular jeans, medium weight jacket and medium weight gloves, on a sunny day, I am still warm. No heater in the cab just lots of solar warmth.

I had mine installed by the dealer so no idea of the work involved. Like you I would unzip the back and side windows to let air in for circulation etc. I did find it very loud inside when closed in but not so bad with everything open. Keeps you dry and away from the wind for sure and the windshield from fogging up. I had a wiper on mine which helped keep the snow of the windshield when blowing snow of which my blower was front mount. Over all the cab was well built, sturdy and would recommend it to anyone looking for a affordable soft cab. I traded mine on a factory cab with heat and they gave me 3/4 of the value on a trade in after 3 years of use. The dealer told me that those cabs do not depreciate much as there is always someone looking for a used on.

No question about the situation here. Unless there is a dramatic change in the forecast - I'm be pushing rain down my driveway on Christmas morning. So far, we have had 3" of snow and it is long gone. I hope this does not mean another dry summer for 2019. Where have all the snows, that we had twenty years ago, gone. I wonder if Al Gore took them somewhere else.
