Congratulations. If you will be blowing at night, you might want to mount an LED light on the ROPS.

No there is not! Tractor was used, so was the flail mower, and a lot of other equipment I use. But in this case, for a couple hundred more, I got a brand new blower, 2 year warranty and electric chute control. The blower in Watertown has hydraulic chute control. Buying the Woodmaxx saves me from having to install a splitter so I can use rear remotes on both the blower and the front plow.

You're happy, I'm happy!!!

Boy! Big disappointment...
This morning was a forecast of 6" total accumulation this weekend...now we're down to 2.5" total... Real bummer... Well, I can, at least, use the plow, if not the snow blower...

Good suggestion! I had an LED light bar (replaced the original fender mounter work light mounted on the back of my 4520's cab and it helped a lot.
I also had a rear wiper kit that I hadn't installed (sold with the tractor, but the guy didn't take it...too much of a hurry to leave, I guess). The 4052 has a rear wiper, so I gave the kit to a friend (co-worker in one of our CT plants) who owns a 955 with a Curtis Cab.
No matter how you aim the chute, sooner or later the rear window will be covered with snow...

Yep, I already added LEDS front and rear when I started using it for plowing, lights it up at night quite nice!

Solved my lighting problems..... I ONLY plow during DAYLIGHT.

After the storm.

So far, no complaints from the neighbors that I plow free.

Bought this ten foot V Plow, Ancient Military, thing at an auction a few weeks ago. Want it to blaze a path to the back of the property a couple of times during the winter.

Wanted to torch off the Farmer scrap and snot welding, replace the frame and just weld on a SS plate. Easy-peasy.

Seems I need some up and down as well as lateral float, so now it's become yet another project.

Depends on how pretty the path needs to be. Could just hold it up a few inches and leave some snow. Where you going to buy a blank QA bracket and build on that? You could put pivot points on the QA blank and mount a 'mast with a chain to give you plenty of float. If the pivot points were slots that would help the horizontal float too

The weather guessers are predicting a pretty healthy start to plowing tonight into tomorrow.
We've had a few dustings and I've been organizing the outside stuff for winter plowing but I could use or expected a few more weeks time. Looks like a wet sloppy snow starting with a bunch of rain.

I'm in the "bullseye". I guess I'm dressing the tractor for plow mode today.

Woodmaxx snowblowers get pretty good reviews on TBN. I would inquire about lead time.

Here is their link
Three Point Hitch Snow Blowers Attachment, 3pt Snow Blowers

Here is a TBN thread

This is it. Very well made compared to some that I have seen at dealers heavier, it is out and mounted tomorrow need to cut drive shaft and hook up the electric for rotation and tilt.
Think next I'll need some side mirrors to save the neck.

Nice... Good Video. Thanks for sharing.

Pretty good for the first snow. Woulda been twice as much if it were a little colder.
