...Stuck it in low, dropped the blade and pushed snow like there was no tomorrow... for about 20 feet, then she stop and spun the chained tires. No amount of differential braking was going to help. So I was stopped, and looking around with blinking eyes, and wondering what the "heck" I was going to do next. That is when my daughter snapped this picture from a second floor window. After some pause I lifted the bucket/plow up three feet and move forward a foot, backed up and took another bite, repeat until one blade's width was done on the bottom and level part of the driveway. After that came the up hill section. It took awhile.

It's a lot easier on the equipment if you plow with the storm...meaning get out there when there's 6" on the ground for your first passes.
Once it gets deep enough to stop your tractor, it's time to use the bucket rather then a plow.
You may have had better luck if your plow was angled too....that build up in front of the plow would have stopped most CUTs
