Great set up I like how you "tucked" the plow tight and under the arms. This will be my first year with mine mounted under also. I had it connected with about 4 inches under the frame last year. It worked well, but I still didnt like the legnth and also that amount of weight overhanging the front. Made it feel like to much weight swinging around out there.
Here's a pic of what I install to plow snow.

Tell me more about these wings on the bucket. Did you build them or buy them?

Skyhook is correct - homebrew. There were a few pieces of 10 Ga galvanized that were cut to fit. They lap over most of the outside. On the inside each wing has two pieces of 1/4" x 1-1/2" flat bar. The first piece fits tight against the bucket and the second is staggered so it fits inside the bucket. Like a long narrow belt clip on a tape measure. Scrap pieces of angle are welded on the outside to stiffen them and another for a mini skid on the bottom. Due to the way things lock together, a single bolt holds each one securely. Now we need some snow for a test drive.

Nothing fancy, just a drill press and band saw. Drill a hole where the bottom of the slot wants to be and then saw in from the edge. Instant radiused end.
