Curious how the R14's perform

Me too. :)

Was planning to go turf tires, but they were an option on this tractor. Salesman claimed they do pretty good in snow. And since this tractor will see a fair bit of mud in the not snow season, it seemed like a good all around compromise.

Probably going to pick up a set of chains for the front as there's one section of my driveway that is fairly steep and can get icy. Not sure I'll need them, but the fronts aren't super expensive so seems like good insurance. It sure gave the plow rig trouble a couple times last season.

That'll get the drifts taken care of for sure. A good set of goggles and a one piece, insulated, pair of overalls will help with the open cab.

Thankfully, years of ski bumming have left me well equipped in the wardrobe department. :laughing:
