I've lost the pin on my landscape rake, the one that allows the rake to rotate. I know it needs to be 3/4 " But does it need to be hardened or will mild steel work? If it's mild steel I can throw one together today at work. If it's hardened I guess I'll have to buy one. So Hardened or mild steel?

Pretty sure it's harden steel, I have one on my blade that is bent and still works so you can get away with Mild Steel. I don't think you'll stress a landscape rake like a rear blade. Definitely, make one and see how it works out.

There cheap, go to TSC they have all kinds and if memory is on around $5.00, that's where I replaced mine from.
