Pin lock quick attach

I have a 1433V with a 1466 loader on it. I want to buy a quick attach kit for the bucket and the Massey one looks good to me. One of the local dealers quoted me $250 - $300 and the other one doesn't return my calls. Is this a reasonable price? Any other source where I could buy it?

I think that mine was around $200, but that was about a year and a half ago. Between normal price increases and the increase in steel prices, it might be about right now.

I don't recall exactly, but it seems like I paid less than $200. You should be able to get a price at any MF dealer, and installation is not a problem. That's one purchase you'll never regret.

Well, I ordered it; $249. I'm sure it'll pay for itself in ease and time saved the more I use it!

By any chance would you have a link to that quick attach conversion? My 6ft FEL on my MF 1040 can be kind of a pain to remove, and would like to get a front blade for it at some point!

I don't have link for them, I don't even remember if MF had anything on the net about them. MF / AGCO does a sorry job of presenting their products on the Internet. There is another company that would have one to fit you tractor, it looks just like the MF version. But, to save me I can't remember their name. <font color="blue">Does anyone else remember the manufacture that has a pin on quick attach for loaders?</font> The one that we have been speaking about more than likely will work. If you knew your pin size and what the pin center line distance from the top pin to the bottom pin was, I could tell you if the 1200 series or the 1400 series would work.

I looked at that one yesterday. The one that I was looking for was made almost exactly like the one sold by MF. I still haven't been able to find it. If I remember right from past discussions, the after market one was higher priced than the one sold by Massey.

I finely found it. It is a ATI product that is only listed in the catalog. Page 27 shows the hitch and page 33 shows that it fits the MFs. This is PDF download. ATI catalog PDF

Guys, After reading this post and Jerry's ATI pdf file , I called them to talk about this quick attach loader unit (for $250 NOT!! ) and the needed plate for the bucket side and although he quoted me pricing for them which was quite pricey IMO he said that I would have to buy it from a dealer.

Prices as quoted quick attach is $619 for loader side and plate for bucket is 209 and you will need a plate for each implement that you may want to use at 209 each ????? Thanks for not giving up on my request!!! After reading Nastys post about price, I think I need to start drawing something up and fabricate it myself. My neighbor has a 30hp John Deere, bite my tungue, with a pretty slick setup to go from bucket to snowplow. Im thinkin I will use that idea and modify to fit. But thanks again for your help!

Here is a picture I took last night after adding the quick attach and putting my original bucket back on. Hook-up is a simple as it gets. I didn't need any special brackets for the bucket side; anything that is set-up to fit where my bucket goes should go right on. The only thing is you need to have top pins in all the items you wish to swap; not a big deal IMO...

That is the MF one that we were originally speaking about. It's as simple as you can get and with the cost of steel, I don't think that I could build anything that would work as good for less money.

There is two different ATI quick attach. I am sure that they make more money on the skid steer model, because it seem like a person always has to question them more than once to get the right answer. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I took a close-up this morning, but it's still not the greatest picture. It's not readily apparent, but the top part is a "hook"; you leave a pin in the top hole, slip the hook under it, roll the bucket until it hits the stop, slide the bottom pin (with the handle) in, fasten the quick-clip and away you go. It's really very slick. I'll try to take some pictures with the bucket off this weekend but it's my daughter's birthday party on Saturday and Sunday I have to bust my butt to get my pumpkins planted or they'll never be ready for September/October so additional photos may have to wait ubtil next week...
