I see all these expansion joints in pipe fence etc and have to wonder what I'm doing wrong. I don't use'm, expansion joints, and my stuff still seems to stay straight and live. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif
I firmly (pun intended) believe in concrete, lots and lots of concrete, and deep holes. The number one criticism of my work is I overbuild.
I can live with that.
Dig your holes deep. Use lots of concrete. Enjoy the fruits of your labor for years and years.
The last thing you want is for your fence to look like the work of an eccentric who mickey moused it.
