Pizza dough for wood fired oven

Another pizza we like, smoked chicken, stilton and caramelized onion, usual tomato base topped with home smoked chicken breast (torn up and not too much), caramelised onion topped with some crumbled stilton and a bit of bocconcini.
Variation, sliced roasted potato in place of the chicken and finished with a sprinkle of oregano.

Anyone make their own Nann in a stone whatever you call it. The Nann gets tossed against the wall. Those are awesome, with Tanduri Chicken.:licking:

That is one I would like to try, Naan bread is relatively easy to make but does need high heat, not sure if a wood fired oven is as hot as a Tandoor but it would certainly be getting close.
What amazes me is watching Indians slapping that bread on the wall of the Tandoor and not burning their arms, I'm sure I would make contact if I did it, on a positive note, you never get arm hair in your bread, they don't have any left.

My arm has made contact with a wood stove door, feeding the fire in the middle of the night. Takes many weeks, before that injury heals.

Not in the same league but I picked up a big soldering iron by the action end that I thought wasn't plugged in, that expanded my vocabulary and also took a while to heal, I was about 15 at the time and still remember that.
There are other Indian breads that are quite good (with a bit of practice) that can be shallow fried or done in a dry frying pan, we had some Naan last week from an Indian restaurant that was done under a grill, it was awful.

Try getting your stomach up against a pot belly stove. In those days, we took our baths in a wash tub in the middle of the kitchen, heated the water over the stove, and froze our buttz when we got out; so naturally we got up as close to the stove as we could; that time I got too close. Neighbor girl got her rear end up against their stove for the same reason. Makes a nice quarter-sized scar. I had one next to it, that I called my "Pizza scar". Pizza pans can get pretty hot, and up against a bare stomach they can make a mark!

I too picked up a soldering iron by the wrong end back in my teens. And not a little wimpy one, but the kind you used to do eavestroughs with. It's funny, seeing the white skin, and then the pain arrives.

Burnt my hand on the peel that we don't use last night, missus had fished out some baked potatoes (which come out exceptionally well in the pizza oven) and left it nearby, I picked it up not realising it was hot.
