I'm still battling the plantar fasciitis, so at the recommendation of a friend who had a similar issue, I had a Piezowave treatment and a Thera-laser treatment this morning with the person that fixed hers.
Holy-foooook!! It was the most painful procedure I've ever volunteered for! I'm not going to lie, from a scale of 1-10, I hit a 10 in a couple of instances and had to remind myself to breath, so I wouldn't pass out. I think I was covered in sweat when we finished.
The Piezowave was incredibly painful, with a deep pain that's hard to describe. I had points where I had to tell the technician to back off. The Thera-laser was the equivalent to someone burning you with a hot poker. The laser would blast for 50 second cycles and at the end of each cycle it was like a red hot poker.
Apparently, I'll need to do up to 6 rounds of this! I'll have to schedule another for later this week and I'm dreading it. I think it's going to work, but man-o-man it's not fun. I consider myself to have a decent pain tolerance, but this pushes you to the limit.
