Planting grass on fill area

I think I bought 2 bags of top soil and took a bunch of long stems from my ornamental grass to do about 30 x 50.
Watered till good growth.
$4-5 total - we can overthink this, but I chose not too.
Even the trench was done in two runs and total seed cost was about $30.
Some seed washed away, so I put more down with some soil I had in a pile and some compost from the woods

Wouldn't be a bad idea to price is out. Not that big of an area.
