Mike,
When we have snow all we hear is how better it was up North from the transplanted Yankees. They tell us that everyone up North nows how to drive in this stuff. Or the roads get cleared up right away and they don't understand why it does not get clean up so quick down here. Or the criticism is that we all run to the store for bread and milk. They don't do that up North. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
And the SUVs going all over happens here as well. Too many people see the commercials and buy the marketing story line. I pulled a Wrangler out of a planting bed a few years ago. The only way I could see how he got in there was going to fast. I'm still suprised he could not back out..... I put the tow strap on my hook gave him the other end and told him to hook up his Jeep. I pulled him out while going backwards up a hill on a sheet of ice. Just seems like his Jeep could have gotten out.
He was not the brightest bulb either. When I was positioning the truck to pull him out he kept standing in FRONT of the truck. Ahh, we are on ice here. Your Jeep is stuck because it slid off the ice. WHY are you standing in front of a truck that might start sliding into YOU. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
The snow does not bother me unless its so bad to pull down the power lines. ICE storms scare the bejeebers out of me! I don't like being without power.....

Dan
