Ok, well I did get my new toy (DK35) and put about 5 hours on it Sat and half of Sun. I bush hogged about a half acre and moved a few stumps (already dug up but laying around and huge) to "the pit".

I love the thing and feel pretty comfortable in it already. Still no genius with the FEL, but getting better. The 4WD switch is very tight, but the dealer rep said it would loosen over time.

Here I am, piling some dirt up in front of the shed so I can drive it in later...

He's me, carefully backing away from the shed /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I did learn real quick that it does not pay to be in a hurry. I almost clobbered the FEL against the tree once /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

And a final pic of the new toy safely ensconced in its home. The ROPS clears the shed door by a good 3 inches! Woohoo!

Very nice looking machine and garage.

Sendero,

Did you put the garage up yourself. It is kind of what I am looking for and was wondering if it was a kit of some kind.

Billy,

That's a great looking tractor and shed. Have fun!

The Kioti dealer in Temple told me (when I couldn't shift into 4wd when test driving a DK35), that Kioti was aware of the 4wd lever problem, and that they were do a "recall" of sorts. He said the other DK series tractors have a different system, and didn't have the problem. He had fixed one DK35 that he had sold, but this particular unit was going back to the Mexia distribution center for a retrofit.

Just fyi.

No, it's a Morgan building, a local manufacturer makes these things everything from a 6x8 to pretty big.

This one is made to be a garage, but it sure made some cracking sounds when I pulled the tractor in /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif I told my wife that was normal /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

If you can get the metal siding, it would be pretty easy to make a building like this. One reason they use it is so the building is portable. A guy hauled this thing in on a flatbed, and it was only a minor pain to get it off in the right spot.

I wanted to build a shed and had planned to, then one day about 3 miles from our place, we're on the way home and this guy has a For Sale sign on the thing. Paid a lot less than it would have cost me for materials for a quality shed. I get lucky now and then /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Interesting concept. I have never seen one of them around here. I like the idea of just hauling it in and dropping it off. We have the Morten buildings and other competitors but I have never seen a pre-built with a floor in it. I will have to do some searches to see if I can find something local like that.

Sounds like you need some reinforcing under the floor or another layer of plywood subfloor over the top of the existing floor (just make sure it is less than 3 inches thick /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif). Sure would hate to see a picture of that pretty machine with the tires poking down through the floor. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Nice setup. I am sure you will get a lot of fun -- work, that is -- out of both the tractor and the shed.
