That is one clean machine. Have you ever used it?

Judging from the little nubs still on the tires, I'd guess it is a new one. If he has hundreds of hours on it, I just want to smack him. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Just kidding... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Nice looking tractor you've got there. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Whiskey: If you can find it, I've seen a neat little nylon channel that has springy lips that make the channel into a closed tube- with a self adhesive strip along the back. You cut it to length, intstall it, press the wires inside, and you have protected wires. Problem is, I can't remember where I saw it.
If your new tractor has a FEL, I'll bet there are NO scratches on the paint! Looks nice and shiney!

If you can't find any way to attach your plastic conduit to the underside of your fender, you can always run a bead of adhesive along the side of the plastic to bond it to the fender.

I once bought a trailer on which all of the wiring had been "hung" by being encased in clear silicone in the inside corners of channel everywhere. I'm sure that seemed like a really neat idea to whomever did it at the time. Honestly, I thought it was pretty clever when first told of it myself.

My guy who had to rewire it was ready to place a bounty on this guy's head, however. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif It was apparently almost impossible to test and worse to remove. I was told next time I brought something like that in I could do the wiring on it. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Great Work, Whiskey! That sure is a nice color on that machine....

Good idea! That's plastic Wire-Mold. Electrical supply houses and better home supply stores will carry it. It is made to be painted to match...

Just one hard question to ask.......Why did you choose to run the wires on the outside of the ROPS and not snake them on the inside? Love the green as much as my orange /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. This is a project I want to tackle on my Kubota L3130HST but have not built up the nearve yet to drill any holes in the ROPS......Mine is only 1 month old and I would hate to mess up. Plus I have the trouble of folding ROPS that I have to use in order to put her in the shed. My suggestion for your wires.....I have seen at NAPA a heavy almost asphalt like material..covered wire loom that racers use under the hood. The stuff looked tuff and secure from moisture.

Hillsider:

The reasion the wire is on the outside of the ROPS is (1) warranty (2) Ther upper elbows or attaching corrners are soild metal on the 790.
