One more question: Lifting with one of these small hoes; if a person were to put a chain hook on the bucket, what would the lift capacity be? Is this a capacity given in the spec's or is this just a general bad idea. (function: Lifting a broken-loose stump out of a deep hole)

I don't remember where I read it , but the lift capabilty of a BH should be about 50% of its breakout force. The breakout force of this BH is about 1150 lbs, depending on the bucket size. Lift capacity should be about 550 lbs, but it will vary depending on how you have the BH extended.
