please ...please help..john deere guy is clueless...

so the john deere dealer sends out a mechanic to my house to put the independent hydro kit on and he didn't have any instructions to do it...so he tries anyway and ends up messing up the hose that came with the kit(cracked the fitting)...now he has to order the hose and pick the tractor up when it gets in.......do any of you guys have a pic of the cylinder installed on the 2320 so I can show him how it goes on.......ps...this kid is about 18-20 years old.....he makes me nervous.....

I can't help with a picture, but I would be nervous also-enough that I would call the dealer and tell them to send out a different mechanic WITH instructions.

Boy,that sounds like a real "fly by night" deal. I'd call the dealer and tell him,you pay me and I'll put it on myself.

guys...any pic of the installed cylinder would be much appreciated....there coming to pick the tractor up in the morning and it would be nice to have a pic to look at just to make sure this kid does it right....:thumbsup:....I don't like having to use this kid but the dealer is giving me the kit free so hopefully it will come home right...

I would call the dealer and tell them to send out a different mechanic WITH instructions.

That may be the dealers only choice in that the dealer may/should have fired the first guy for that blunder.

I don't have pics but I did have a 2320 with the cylinder that I installed myself. It wasn't a hard job but it did take patience. There's an air vent on the cylinder housing that should be on top when the cylinder is in right. It has to be bled also. After the cylinder is installed make sure that you don't crimp the hoses when you raise the deck, they follow the chasis and are held on with small clamps.

Here's the lift, not much to the instructions as I remember, it's basic common sense.
