I've had my Milwaukee chop saw for 10 years or so, and it's never missed a beat. I built an entire rock crawler using it. That being said, I would gladly trade my chop saw in for a good horizontal bad saw. Much less noise, and mess, and you can set it up for the cut and observe it from afar while you do other things. I could save a lot of time in the shop if I wasn't having to stand at the chop saw while cutting. .02
