What? This can't be so, can it? I recently saw a tractor filter made in India or maybe Pakistan.

It says car filters but a lot of guys shop for crossover deals for tractors and the cheapest price so who knows what you get?

What's wrong with that. Pretty good for the equipment that they have . I would gladly take one of theirs over a Fram

Did you notice that the end of the filter media are just overlapped, not epoxied together or fastened together with a metal clip? The oil will find its way past that area in a hurry.

Some people like AC, others Fram or Motorcraft. The guy that did the machine work on my race engines recommended Lee oil filters. They would filter better and take more pressure before the filter can ruptured or the media ruptured, allowing dirty oil to get past the filter media. Never had a bearing or any engine problem from using lowly Lee oil filters.

Fram is the pits. Having said that however their air filters are pretty good. I wonder if those are on Mahindra tractors?

When I had to buy filters for my Mack EM6300, OEM Mack filters were cheaper at the dealer then NAPA!!!

No loud music in the shop or long hair. No one watching their cell phone. Lots of employment, super efficient.
This is why I never pre fill a filter when installing it.

There are no doubt many bits of metal remaining inside those filters and I don't want them pumped into the system which could happen if they were prefilled. Some large Engine suppliers are specific about this.
