When there is a lot of snow, it will go over the top edge of my plow. Has someone installed an extender to the top of the plow to help roll the snow instead of falling over the top?:anyone:
If you have, what material did you use?

I've seen them on front snow plows made of steel or heavy rubber, but don't know how you would do it on the rear blade, you would have a section on each side? and not be able to reverse the blade.

The snow wouldn't roll very well through the frame of the rear blade, so it would pile up on one side and get hard to pull.

This is of course if you're talking about a rear blade? Going by your picture.

I've plowed many years and seen snow foils on front blades, I never felt I needed one myself though.

I thought if it was made from rubber or something similar, it might hang down enough to clear the frame.

Yeah, I see what you're saying. I have seen them like that, a stiff pc of rubber sticking straight forward, and could swing up if loaded.

Just not sure how well it work with a rear blade, should help some though.

Good luck, JB
