lol i put the 589's on my hpx and with 20hp i can't do any donuts now my son did do a little sideways slidin in dome really slick stuff but i told him to cool it down but i don't think the hpx's or xuv's will spin them like the ranger will you got alot more hp's than the deere's do.i have been eyeing the rangers ever sinse i got my hpx. they nice i just wonder about the jagged edged cement and how it would act on the fiber or plastic bed? i haul alot of bricks and cement . i could always fab up a metal bed liner that would work in them lock and ride sockets on the sides of the bed.

Before I got them, someone told me that I wouldn't be able to do donuts because they do hook up so well. I will guarantee you that with 40hp, it will do some donuts. Brent, that has to be one of the best "proof" demos of the Ranger I've ever seen. Great job. Great camera-gal as well!

We had less than 1/2" of rain since March until about a month ago. I'd forgotten what mud looks like. Dang if those 589's don't grab hard! Do you ever run across any really hard clay dirt with a thin slick wet layer on top? That's what we have now and even my 10k tractor with the loaded R1's on it slides around like it's on ice. I can't pull much of a hill with any of my UTV's because they just spin and won't dig into the hard stuff under the thin slime. Generally my Maxxis Bighorns have done well, but they just slide around on this thin slime stuff.

Them 589's do grab, Isn't no slipping and slidding with 'em on the RTV .

By the way, my grandson calls it Cujo with teeth >>>>>>>

dargo, good to hear from you. The 589s pull on or through anything. The only time they have let me down is...........................Well I really can't think of a time they have let me down. I have been stuck once since I put them on and that was an hour after I shot that video. I went through some ruts very slowly and the bottom of the Ranger hung up.

Was that your land? Is there always so much water? How do you deal with the bugs?

Yes that is my land. No there is not always that much water. That is from the beavers that have set up shop.

Brent,

Your video was very impressive. I think also it shows the Yamaha comparison videos of Polaris loaded handling to be very much staged. I really like your Ranger and I know you enjoy it also.
