My old Kubota Ls have jerky hitches as you make small adjustments. This seems to be the result of poor position control in the valving. You literally cant make small adjustments because you must move the lever too much before anything happens, and then a lot happens. Not much I feel able to do about it at this point, but if I were buying new I would try every representative tractor on the lot before accepting or rejecting, and would notify Kubota in writing that they have omitted a small design step of great value that makes their valves either not work, or be finicky. The small extra effort should be added by the manufacturer up front so that the lifts will reliably work smoothly. The tractor might cost a extra $50 and only the inexperienced would argue for the cheaper variation.
