Pool Demoltion & Removal - lots of pix

Were flip flop on this side of the world we should only loose use of it 2-3 months a year.

We went with a paver deck (should be easy to remove if need be) pebble tec coating inside and a salt gen. for easy care, but the deal is I don't want, need or will take care of it. We didn't get the heater at this point, maybe solar down the road if it's not covered in dirt by then?


AND I STILL WANT A NEW TRUCK!

I guess I'll quit complaining about a family room, bathroom, office, and upcoming kitchen/foyer remodel. I'd be a bit jacked up over a pool too and it was on our discussion board for a brief period. I had to get her focused on something else (all of the above). We are Neanderthals you see. We just don't get it. If we were the always kind, considerate, understanding souls we should be..... we wouldn't want tractors and trucks and the like . Guess it's just something we have to live with... or walk which doesn't go with me. That would be her responsibility...

So suck it up. Join the crowd. Relish the pain. Tolerate the agony. The trick is to give them what they want and shut up....and hopefully one day a few of your desires are met. Plenty of us walk that walk. One has to find the humor in it all. Otherwise, we'd need a check-up from the neck up.

You may even grow to like that pool I'm not placing any bets though..

My buddy had one installed about 20 years ago. (Maine) He said it was by far the best investment he has ever made. That is with our short pool season. You have to plan well and carry through with those plans though. (location/angle/type/size etc etc) They are obviously not right for everyone, but the majority of people I know with them are very happy with their investment. Many do complain about the cost to maintain vs. the short season, but they still say it works out for the best. I think the biggest reason for being happy was that the kids wanted to have people to their house vs going out on weekends and the parents not knowing where they are.
My inlaws have an inground that they have kept up since early late 70's or early 80's. They still keep it going for grandkids. I've been married for 13 years and never seen them in the pool.
I guess it depends what you are looking for.
Soooooo, that being said, BUY THE POOL AND TRUCK!!!!! hahaha
