Anyone ever seen one of these?

Bucket Buddy Power Shovel, Tractor Attachment, Tree Shovel

Price seems salty but I think it would be great for trenching. Wondering if it would be too stressful on the hydraulics of a CUT?

thats a good design, but i seem to recall one in another but it was flat, and just bolted on the the bucket lip with large bolts. same idea as bucket forks. but shorter and wider. how much was this scoop?

I would think a sheet of 3/8s plate cut into a triangle and bolted to the bucket would do the same thing. or a 2' piece of 24" pipe cut on a diagonal would work too.

There was a thread in the general sections... I think it was under build it youself, where someone built something like that for trenching. It dodn't work well as a trencher. Not sure how well it would work for ripping trees/bushes out like in the video.

Its not a poor mans back hoe, as the tractor they had on the video, was at least 70 to 80 hp. It might be good for a small long ditch, but I think, it would take two people, to be able to spot it correctley on the tree your taking out.

It looks similar to the Quick Spade. I have one of those. The Quick Spade is heavy and well made. I have used it to get rocks (not boulders) dug out and a little bit of trench work. It is useful to have, but I have not used it a lot. The limiting factor in what you can dig up is more the hydrolics and the tool with my B2920.

I have seen the one in the build it yourself section, he did a really nice job on it,looks to be alot better quality than the $599 one. I have transplanted alot of trees , and one of those won't work. It would transport them when you have properly balled it. I agree that it certainly could have its uses, but you will be limited to hydrolic strength.
