Poor Quality Control IMO

It very clearly says in the owners manual that you should be checking your wheel bolt torque after an hour or two of use. Its just like having the tires changed on your car, once they are worked around a bit the lugs can loosen very quickly. It does not sound like a dealer prep problem.

After having had over 15 years of experience doing tire relacement-repair work for a major tire dealer. I was taught to make sure that when the unit left our place of business that the lug nuts had better been torqued to the correct specs. There were no exceptions to this and we sure didn't expect our customers to have to do this after we had done the work. If you just had your tires changed and the rims came loose it was because they were not torqued to the correct specs by the one who did the job and these guys didn't have a job there very long that let this happen.

Seems like an easy oversight if they were rushing to get it done. The other basic mechanic rule is never leave a job like that until it's done. ie: Loosely fit the wheels on, go for lunch, come back to a job that "looks" finished and start on something else.
You have every reason to complain (especially if it did some damage to the rims) and you should get something for that.
