If I ever get to Norway, I'd love to visit! I always wanted to tour the Scandinavian countries...ever since I owned my first SAAB (a model 96 3 cylinder two stroke).

Should be up Memorial Day...annual work weekend: weed the gardens, plant the pozies, fix the stone walls...nothin' but "asses and elbows" as Dad used to say.

Gunnar,

I have no idea who the jumper is. Torge Tokle perhaps???
Only know the name because my dad was in the 10th Mountain Division (Ski Troops) in World War Two with him.
Saw you're from Norway. Jumping had a small following in this country until the **** lawyers and insurance companies decided it was dangerous.

I tried jumping 16 years ago on an old 40 meter hill 35 miles north of New York City called Bear Mountain, now closed. Oddly enough, Torge's brother Arthur was the head official that day. I LOVE the sport and would do it at the club level if we still had jumps nearby.

As Eddie said in east Texas at our weekend place we don't have that much hill but where we are on the east side of the Trinity River valley we are about as hilly as you can get.

Where you before VT, it sure is nice with all the hills.
