it took me about an hour to do my driveway. Sorry guys...now I can read of your heroic exploits, mine were pretty boring.

We were only supposed to get a 2-4" here, but the lake-effect kicked in behind the storm, we have over a foot and it's still snowing.

Just came in from digging the animals out from the barn and still coming down. About 26" on the ground and they expect another 4-6" before it ends middday. Cannot wait to crank up the tractor and get to work on this stuff.

Just checked weather.com, they are keeping a running total of snowfall around New England.
Milford, CT 38"
Boston 22"
Gorham, ME 33" (near Portland)

The heavy snow must be hugging the coast because I don't think we've gotten 8" yet. Hard to tell with the wind. The temperature has hovered around 10*F last night and this morning. Yesterday noon, it was 8*F. It's been a bit cooler than normal lately.

Tomorrow looks like a fine day, sunny and high of 28*. Unless this settles down quickly this afternoon, I'll wait until Sunday morning to clear the driveway.

Apparently what Maine is getting now, we're getting later today and tonight if it stays on track. Not a lot here yet, maybe 6-8 inches. Hard to tell, it's blowing so hard it's either bare ground or a three foot drift. Horses seem pretty happy in the barn
