Position Control - worth extra $$?

Thanks for that update, either the dealer was confused or I didn't hear him correctly, or a little of both. Just getting some sticker shock on estimates for an addition on the house, so the tractor may be on the back burner for a while. Sure would like to strike while the 0% interest iron is hot!

Enjoy your new machine - much larger than my needs. The ease of operation and comforts of these new units sure make them fun to use!

I don't hear anything about position control that would make me want to pay more for it. I don't see any advantage over merely setting the lift lever stop on my Yanmar, or using check chains. While we are at it, what is cruise control? Is that kind of like setting the throttle lever on my tractor?
