Torque is Torque.
Speed is Speed.
The relationship between them really doesn't depend much on the type of transmission, all other things being the same.
I guess you could also start your car in third gear - just up the engine RPMs, feather that clutch, let it slip and burn a while until you get some speed and the torque requirements won't stall the engine.
But then again, why would you want to pull a trailer that is so heavy up a hill at high speed?
I just don't understand the point of your posts.
