Ran across this product in the May issue of Profi International, sure would make putting in fence posts a lot easier. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

sure, until you see the pricing on one of those...YIKES!... if you put in posts for a living, it may be justified...

Interesting 'improvement' on the traditional post driver like the Worksaver Post Driver. I put improvement in quotes because I'd have to use one to be sure it's better. I have a Worksaver driver and the thing that takes the most time is (1) Laying out where the posts are to go, (2) Positioning the tractor to locate the post properly, i.e., on the mark you made in Step 1 and (3) Making sure it's going in perpendicular to the ground.

I have a hard time believing they could average 1 post/minute. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif The actual driving of the post might only take a minute in non-rocky ground. Add in the set up time for each post and you'd actually have less than 1 minute to drive the post in. Maybe two people could average a post/minute.
