Harv...what did you pay for those forks? Shipping?

OT: Do they have a price list published for all their products or do you need to contact them for each product and find out how much? (Boy I hate that...although not as much as having to sign a confidentiality agreement just to find out how much they are charging. That way of doing business is so outdated, imo.)

ejb -

I paid $350 new for the forks. No shipping charges 'cuz I got them straight from the broker who sold me the tractor at the same time I got everything else (tractor, loader, rotary cutter, box blade).

Gearmore is a distributor, so you normally buy their stuff through dealers who set their own prices. If you contact Gearmore yourself, I don't know if they would quote prices or refer you to a dealer.

This kind of fork setup is fairly common, and I bet you could find a dealer local to you who has the same or similar forks.

My earlier post is making my horozontal run off the screen.
I did an edit and broke it into shorter lines and it "did not compute"
So I put it back to the original format and now it works.

Is there any way to shorten this address and make it work?

Thanks Harv...$350 is a bit steep for me right now; maybe I'll see if I can find a used pair or hobble something together myself.

Here is something I made cheap, simple, and quick. About $15 dollars new steel and about 2 hours work. See also next attachment. I don't have a quick attach FEL. My bucket had 2 holes already in it (hmmm, reminds me of a song /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif). I used those to determine my spacing. I just needed something to make carrying logs, lumber, brush, etc. easier.

The forks are made of 2x2x11ga sq tube and 2x2x3/16 angle. I don't know the lifting capacity, but I can stand near the end of a fork with no noticeable deflection. See one more attachment after this.

That a pretty good solution, low cost and easy. Now you just have to paint your bucket to match your forks! ;)
