Yes they do go under and lock onto the edge.

I bought the shanks, teeth and retaining pins from Case dealer. The heavy industrial equipment Case (yellow).
The shanks were $10 per
The teeth were $5
The pins were $2 something...

I used some flat stock. Total cost was around $130. At first I thought the shanks and teeth were too big, but once on the bucket and in use they were fantastic and I can remove the assembly when needed a straight edge via two bolts. Thanks to all those on this site for recommended a toothbar in the first place.

JRP, here are a few quotes from some of your posts, just so you see that this post is not humorous. We all have our typos, and not everyone is so adept at computers and spelling. Your reply here comes off as just another bully.
From your post on Power Inverters 3/20/04:
( Only perhaps a second or less at "peak" ated power. )
( As far as the starter buring up the alternator...)
( I'm more likely to power a skill saw than a cumputer while working around my tractor. )
Based on the many wonderful posts you've made here, this one does not become you. John

Possibly you could teach some others some manners. I only wish that there was a way to keep certain people from responding to what one posts. Theses people never have anything positive to say, but they are always full of criticism of others, and what they have is always better or they have more of them! Many times I think that we have half the nursery school here and it is the half that is in the corner for misbehaving. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
On the typo's...... I can handle them better than I can handle the peoples writing that use computer shorthand and use 2 in place of "two" and 4 in place of "four". The examples could go on forever, but I have to skip over their writings. Makes my mind a blur trying to follow it. I jokingly refer to these people as the "computer stenographers".

I don't see anything wrong with using numbers instead of writing the word, but kinda suspect that you meant using 2 in place of "to" or "too" and 4 in place of "for". /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

( Possibly you could teach some others some manners. ) Well, sometimes I need to teach myself some manners as I have a tendency to jump when someone is misrepresenting the facts on purpose (messick), but I won't mention any names. However, I really hate the bully type that thinks he/she is so clever that he/she doesn't make the very mistakes being criticized. I doubt that this is JRP's normal modus operandi however, and that he didn't realize just how awful it came across. I would never make fun of someone's spelling, as we all have problems with it at times. I applaud anyone who's at least trying to be computer literate enough to be on this forum. John

I wasn't making a point about the persons spelling, but total lack of respect for the written language and TBN by constantly using abbreviations in the entire text of the posted message to the point where it is like trying to decipher a crypt-ed message. That is not the work of a person that can't spell, but the work of a person that just wants to be annoying and makes a deliberate effort to do so. I and a couple of others including a moderator have asked them to turn off the cap lock button and he acknowledge the request and then continue to do as he pleased. To me this is a total disrespect for the members at large of the TBN. It must be my old age not having tolerance for this type of nonsense any longer. I was of the belief that most of the people here knew how to act as grown ups. All you have to do is to read the persons first two posts to see that they can write like a normal person, but after that, it is all downhill. The first 2 postings are peppered with normal writing, so I can tell that it is deliberately done. I am not upset with you, however I don't know why the moderators continue to tolerate this abhorrent behavior of this one person. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

I understood where you were coming from. It was JPF's making fun of the original poster's spelling to which I referred. I have to agree with you. I've seen the all caps and noticed they didn't seem to go away. It's so hard to read them, I usually don't bother. I'm happy that you're not upset with me, as I enjoy your "told as I see it" posts. I was called a "hard hitter" several days ago and included on a list with your name as such. I was honored to be included with YOU. Thanks, John

John and all,

Your comments and criticisms are well deserved. Yes it was a bully thing to do and I apologize to all. This was one of those posts that after I sent it I wish I could have retracted it.

I sort of wish the original post had been written as "tooth bar" so others could search for and find all the good information posted. Not sure what got into me.

Damage is done and lesson is learned.

If TBN does not kick me off I will post by tooth bar picture when complete. ebay has lots of teeth available, but you have to search for “bucket teeth” not “bucket tooth”.

Please accept my apology.

They haven't kicked me or Kioti John off yet and I believe that you are now in good company joining us in the dog house. Just make sure that you floss your teeth before posting a picture of them.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
