I like picture to help me think of project ideas. Post your pictures of your boom pole here. If you are looking for ideas, this kind of post helps you cover a lot of ideas in a few minutes.

A few ideas that were incorporated into my pole:
1. Fits a Cat I SPEECO quick hitch. Fast to install.
2. Plate at end with keyhole for chain. Chain has grab and slip hook, and can't fall off.
3. Plate has a grab hook and holes for my shackels.
4. The receiver hitch at end can be used with my 5' stinger for high, light loads.

Docheb, Spencer, and a lot more of you have done some really good work. Post your pictures here. I hope to adapt this to fit by FEL Bobtach.

These first two are really cool. I like all the attach options you put on yours JRP, and the slding chain on GuglioLS's would be really handy, not to mention it's neat to be on the BH.
I don't have a good pic handy of mine, but it's just a stock one with a hook at the end, and one near the middle. Nothing special. John

Here's mine. Bought it, painted it, put it where you see it and haven't used it yet /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif! Looks good though(lol) /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Gerard

45V I like yours a lot. It fits the KISS model but has good design elements like the strongback. I want to make one for my FEL.

BIG boom Pole - Looks like you got it hooked up to some sort of exercise equipment. Let me guess you just pulled that contraption out of your house taking it to the shop to make something USEFUL out of the metal.
