I agree. Looks like the original builder tried to rely on a sack of sackcrete to hold it in the ground.

Several of you offered suggestions on how to build my corners, especially the ones over 90 degrees. Attached are some pictures of the same two corners after we rebuilt them. The posts are now 3' in the ground and well braced.

Only 4 more corners and 1 additional wire and the 40 acres will be secure for the hairy pigs ( llamas ).
