I'm trying to post a picture of my tractor to my profile. However, I keep getting a message saying the file is too big. I took another shot on the lowest pixel setting and it still wouldn't accept it. How do I "shrink" the size of the file to get it within this site's parameters?

Assuming you have some type of photoshop utility on your computer, you can try to "resize" it. Drop it down, (lock the aspect ratio, if you can), and save it as a new file- then review the new file size. Those files have to be quite small and are not a normal width/height combination, so you might tend to get a squatty look!!

There is a freeware program that is real simple to use and really a great little program.

It is called PIXresizer.

I think you can easily find it if you do a web search, or even search TBN for that name. Someone here posted a link to the site for download. Unfortunately, I lost the link and the program does not have a referece that I can see to where it can be downloaded...

The neat thing about PIXresizer is that you can work with either one picture or multiple pictures in a directory...

If I can find the link to the download site I will post it. Mabye someone else can post the link if they happen to have it...
