Power angle plow or fixed pusher?

I would not want anything to hinder the snow coming off when the blade is angled. Just my 2 cents worth. Thanks for enlightening me to the trip edge. This is going to make a big difference.

I have both. My first fixed angle is home made. It is made out of heavy 14" channel iron. I built 2 different length mounts that run back and clip into the cutting edge on my bucket for the backhoe. I use a ratchet strap on each side to hold it in place. This is 10' wide and on a 20 degree angle. I use my rear wheel brakes to drive straight. This works quite well. I can't change angle so you have to plan your windrows.

On my case 2670, I bought a 12' Leon blade and built my own mount similar to a dengelman mount for a 4690. This is a 4 way mount and it is nice to be able to put snow where ever I want. I can walk through 3' snow in 12th gear no problem with this setup and the crab steer makes for a nice snow clearing machine.
