Power Beyond Kit - 2305 AND 2210

Just looking on the Deere website and saw the following "accessory" listed for the 2305

Power Beyond Kit - Includes Rear Mounted Hydraulic Couplers and Hose. Kit is
Included with the Backhoe Subframe as Standard Equipment.
For Stand-Alone Use Only. LVB24981 $172.00

I have a 2210 and would love to have power beyond, but I don't think Deere offered a kit for mine. Does anyone know if it will fit? I will stop by my dealer and ask in the next few days if I don't hear from any of you.

I also notice they offer a 35AMP alternator upgrade for the 2305. Expensive ($400) but nice to see Deere addressing some of the gaps in product that I've seen on the 2210.

With the release of the backhoe for the 2305 and 2210 series, they will need a power beyond setup for both. I wouldnt doubt its the same unit but its best to double check with the dealer

I was at my dealer today and verified that the power beyond kit fits both the 2305 and 2210. They also mentioned the 260 BH was on hold due to operational issues but didn't elaborate. Hadn't read about that here on TBN.

Hummmm, there is at least one member hear that owns a 260 BH

Either he is not supposed to have it, or your dealer mistaken...

They had a interference with the hydro pedel and the subframe for the BH. You just have to make sure they get you the correct right front "tube".

Heard the same thing from the dealer I was at a couple of weeks ago. Said there was a fix and they would have it in mid-March. The people that already have the 260 may have the new ones with fix already installed. Some people indicated here at TBN that it was available earlier with a new purchase.

That was me. I ordered mine on feb 23 and he had the kit on the tractor when it was delivered two weeks later, march 9. He actually had the kit in less than a week (with the BH). He gave me the recall installation "guide", and my tube is marked as a replacement.

I tried to post it and it will not work - it is a page from within the configurator.

To get there -

Go to deere.com, residential, products and equipment, utility tractors, "build your own", then select utility tractors. Select 2305 and go to the section called "attachments for field conversion". One of the listed items is the power beyond kit. And that really cool 35AMP alternator upgrade!

The key to the power beyond kit is a set screw that gets added inside a pipe plug, to the loader valve body. Once installed, oil is diverted (or available might be the correct term) to a set of plugged fittings. Attach right angle fittings and hoses to there and you have power beyond. When not connected to another valve, the two are connected together.. I built myu own power beyond, cost me less than $40. I posted descriptions, pictures, and set screw part number, a long time ago, maybe someone can find it.
If you plan to mount a second joystick valve, my method works out better than the JD kit , as you get to decide how long the hoses are and where they route, etc. Good luck.
