I wonder if they have the trailer power, charging the breakaway switch battery..?? They had our dumptrucks wired that way. Removing the b-away battery + terminal wire should tell you pretty quick.
Just a thought...
i know some of our trailers are wired like that. however in this case it was not hooked to a trailer when it died.
however as others said. I will be checking the 7 pin and the jumpe rharness for any corrosion that might be letting power find ground thru that nasty green stuff.
