power hacksaw info?

Anybody out there ever seen a Dayton brand power hacksaw? I bought it cheap to cut steel for projects. It consists of a cast hacksaw frame that slides on a hinged steel arm above a cast iron table, a gear drive with an offset pin to push the blade back and forth, and a cam arrangement with springs to set the cutting pressure.
It doesn't seem to be set up right, even though it cuts semi-ok. I am hoping to get some info on it if possible.
I would appreciate any help you folks could give me.

I like cutting on the pull stroke - there's less tendency to bend/buckle the blade. Japanese carpentry handsaws are designed this way and since they load the blade in tension, they can be much thinner, as they don't have to be thick enough to prevent buckling. This means they create a smaller kerf, waste less material and cut very quickly.

I have one of the power hacksaws also, and have cut a lot of metal on it.

You can put large round stock in it, set the weight for best cut, walk away and return in maybe 20 to 30 min, If you put a switch on it, it will cut itself off when the cut is finished.

I have picked up blades at different places, and I will try and track down some blades.

The are about 1 in wide, and about 12 to 14 in long.

Different length and teeth, and material.
