Anyone got a link to a viewer to see PPS power point slide shows?

On my laptop I actually have microsoft office PPS viewer ( but not power point ).. none of my other PC's have office or the viewer.. so to view a slide show I have to copy everything down to flash drive and dig the laptop out.

any shareware software out there handle this?

Good and bad news... I downloaded it at work, and my work PC took it fine.

When i got home I downloaded it, and it won't open the file.. but pops up a serial number window for msoffice. All the while I get symantec warning bubbles popping up that ms explorere is trying to access the internet. Must have had 300 bubbles come up ever couple seconds. Had to shut the pc down to go to work.. will figure out more later I guess.

Chris, I am not a huge freeware guy, but openoffice.org (sun microsystems) has a whole office suite. It comes with a Power Point (Impress is their name) program that is VERY simular to the real thing. It will allow you to view, create, edit you name it to any power point show, and you can save the show in to most versions powerpoint (PPT 2007, and older).
The office suite also has spread sheet and word programs.
Anyway, this product loads clean, and you do not have to mess with MS.
Good luck, Dave

I'll check it out.

I did end up solving part of my problem. there were lingering remains of an office 2003 install on my PC and that is what was trying to view the PPS, instead of the viewer I downloaded. However.. I'll still look at the sun version..e tc.
