Power Steering Models - Which Yanmars?

I have another question. While I'm still looking around, waiting for money to appear in my bank account, I see some pretty conflicting information about power steering and which models have it.

Is there a way to tell which ones have it for sure, a list perhaps, or maybe by the model number? I thought all 20 series had PST and some of the larger 10 series did too. Is this wong?

Wayne can answer this best , but I think that is an option.Don't know it it would be an option on all yanmars or not. I know I could have bought my 3110 D with ps. or with out

NO models had it just because of the model as far as I know. It was always an option to my knowledge, but most prevalent on high HP 20 series. It is also nearly superfluous, as thousands of owners of Yanmar loader units without PC can attest. Would PS be nice? Of course. Is the tractor difficult to steer without it? No.

Ken...correct me if I am wrong, but I suspect you mean you could have bought a 3110D with PS or a 3110D without PS...rather than the same unit with or without. In other words the dealer had at least two 3110Ds. I don't know of any dealer who will remove a PS unit if the tractor comes with one, and I don't know of anyone offering them routinely as an option to add on. I am not aware of where one could even get a PS unit designed to fit these units.

Wayne ,You are correct,he had a 3110 D with ps or 1 with out ps . I didn't mean to imply that he (the dealer)would install power steering on a unit that didn't have ps already on it when yanmar built it new

I have had Yanmars with and without. If you counter weight your loader like you really should, steering with one hand while having a loaded front bucket is really not a problem.

That's what I was after.

Thanks Wayne, Kenmac, and kayssupply. I was worried it would be rough with a loader and no power steering. The 1610D I test drove last weekend didn't have it and the owner said the same thing, no problem with no power steering and FEL.

I was more worried about the bigger tractors which can accept a larger FEL which allows more weight to be picked up. Sounds like it won't be a problem. Thanks to all.
