I'd like to see a picture of that spray setup. Sounds like a great use of the forks several times a year.

And I agree with you about the comfort of the other units. The NH seemed the most comfortable of all. My PT425 is very comfortable as well.

Hey gang not to get off the subject but, I think we need our own category we have enough interest in the power trac we need one. What do you think?

While six is technically a group, I'll bet it don't happen for a while yet /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif.

You're telling us quality doesn't count, huh? /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

Maybe if we start arguing amongst ourselves about red VS. green we will be considered a legitimate group. /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif

this is the mower you want to use for all the things you mentioned: hills, under trees, nice cut once you learn to keep the beasty steady.
we use a 425 in our cleaning & landscaping business and are very happy with it's overall performance.

to your question about comfort: am 6 foot two, 260 lbs all muscles ...hahahahah size 13 shoes... and operate the machine all day

don't know what zero turns you have that are bumpy.. but pt is not a zero turn. we mowe with our 425 and a special rig 14 feet wide at the time and around 30 acres a day.

if you are lucking for versatility this is the machine!

we have all mowers available for that model. they do well; even in a demanding and competitive area such as the NE USA.

good luck

Hey, another Power Trac owner signs up. Welcome. Please tell us more about your machine and any good/bad experiences that you've had with it.

What are you using for mowing that is 14 feet wide? Reel mowers maybe?

we own two 57 inches kunz eng. acerease finish mowers, which we pull off to the left of the back of the 425. the only modification is that this year i will only use the 48 inch finish cut pt upfront mower becasue we have too many hills around here. this will give the 425 a cooling brake. so we will be down one foot.

wish they would give us a diesel option in this model.

we also use the rough cut mower from Kunz eng., both behind the rough cut mower from pt as well as behind an l series 4 wheel drive kubota tractor with it's own woods rough cut mower.

in an other forum they call me the power trac an acerease addict.

it makes us money and my old back is much happier ... about the only thing i am exploring is to get a similar seat set-up as i have on my Kubota Zero Turn Diesel mower. WHAT A Ride at 9 some miles an hour over some not too nice large properties.

i see you explored that aspect yourself a while back ..any new info??? and what ever happend to the filter situation?

Still no luck on the filter search. But I haven't reached 50 hours yet and I have one spare for when that time comes.

How long have you owned the unit?
