Perhaps a stretch for Lawn & Garden but...

I have a Black Max pressure washer with a Honda GCV160 engine. It is 9 years old, and has been trouble free until today. It is not developing any pressure; I do not hear the characteristic "loaded" sound when the pump is running. I used it two days ago and everything was fine. The water hose isn't clogged and the wand hose is virtually brand new. I'm hardly getting anything out of the sprayer even with the pressure nozzle removed.

I pulled out the loader valve after seeing someone do that on youtube - it isn't sticking that I can determine. Thinking I need to get a new one of those or perhaps a pump assembly...

Check the inlet screen. Get rid of it, they're useless.

Pumps are pretty cheap, when I bought my gas driven PW, I bought a spare pump as well. 5 years and the spare is still in the box.

if that does work, take some motor oil and run it into the pump assembly itself through the water inlet, a lot of the time it will unstick them.

Before I start the engine on my gas power washer, I turn the water/hose on and hold the wand open so that water flows through and gets any air pockets out. Seems to help
